All providers listed in the Parent/ Provider Connector are regulated by the Fairfax County Office for Children or the Virginia Human Resources. When the CCNKF Connector lists a child care provider it means only that they are so regulated and are members of the CCNKF. The responsibility for providing CCNKF with accurate information rests with the members themselves. Responsibility for selecting and using a child care provider rests with each parent. The CCNKF cannot guarantee the quality of the providers in its files and urges parents to carefully observe, interview, and check references before leaving a child in care.
